Battery Basics: Cycle Life & Size Differences

Not all batteries are created equal. Two key factors define their performance: cycle life (how many charge/discharge cycles they can endure) and physical size (which affects capacity and application suitability).

Cycle Life – A battery with 6,000 cycles lasts roughly twice as long as one with 3,000 cycles under similar usage. More cycles mean fewer replacements and lower long-term costs.

Size Differences – Larger batteries typically store more energy (higher kWh), but advanced cell design allows compact batteries to also achieve impressive cycle life. We offer various sizes to fit residential, commercial, and industrial needs.

Performance Grades: A+ vs. A-

We classify our batteries into two performance tiers:

A+ Grade – 6,000 charge cycles (retaining ≥80% of original capacity). Designed for heavy daily use, extreme durability, and 15+ years of service life.

A- Grade – 3,000 charge cycles (retaining ≥70% of original capacity). Suitable for lighter, intermittent applications.

All our products use A+ (6,000-cycle) batteries – because we believe long-term reliability matters more than short-term savings.
